Looking for a fun way to send a note of thanks or greeting? I decided to check out my new printer and the different fonts I’ve recently found and make some colorful stationery to send to family & friends.
Simply take a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and print your greeting. Cut in half and add your desired length and width strip of paper. I actually cut my different strips from a 12×12 sheet of paper and wrapped it around. If you are looking to use scrap paper you can simply use a size that fits the width of your paper.
Inspired by a piece of glittery scrapbooking paper I’ve created the following set of cards.
I cut around the cupcakes on the paper to make them stand out more as embellishments, rather than a square piece of paper.
I made a few Christmas cards for the holiday season
I’d like to reference a wonderful website online for awesome card & stamping ideas. If you are looking for a few fun, fresh ideas for your holiday cards, wedding invites, or everyday cards check out Split Coast Stampers website.
Taking a 12×12 piece of paper I have created an invite, a place/name card and a ceremony program/bulletin.
Invite: Brown w/ pink ribon. The inside would have preferred font on both left & ride side. The right side would have a 1/4 inch border of brown instead of what it looks like right now.
To make the most out of the left hand side, the brown flap/folder holding in the RSVP would be a bit higher up on the invite. (I ran out of paper available – please excuse the tape!) The ribbon would then tie like so in the front.
To save money and use the left over paper from the invite (need a 12×12 to get preferred size of invite) you can use the brown as the backdrop for the program.
Using paper similar in color but thinner you could creat the program with several pages (similar to josh and rachlel’s that you have). The pink tie on the top finishes off the program, holds it together and cordinates/matches the invite itself. The example here is supposed to have the paper go more but i ran out :).
Finally, any extra paper can be used for making name placecards or or table numbers for each table. Could also use this for the candy bar labeling the dishes/treats.
Let me know what you think – I’m willing to put all of these together 🙂
